On behalf of Sainshand Salkhin Park LLC, first and foremost, please let me express my sincere appreciation to our team, investors, domestic and international financiers and banks, the Board of Directors, as well all our partners and stakeholders for your contribution to the successful implementation of this project.
I take enormous pleasure in the fact that Sainshand Salkhin Park LLC plays a key part of Mongolia’s sustainable development, and contributes to the renewable energy sector in line with Government policy.
In particular, our wind park with 55MWh installed capacity annually produces enough green energy to supply the electricity demand of over a hundred thousand households, as well as preventing over 200 thousand tons of carbon oxide emission into the atmosphere with our green energy production.
Employee safety is on the top of list of priorities. Although we have faced particular difficulties due to a nationwide transportation quarantine and other restrictions since early 2021 caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, our team continued to operate to the highest safety standards, completing an impressive 1200 consecutive days without a non-lost time accident.
Furthermore, we demonstrated high productivity in 2021, exceeding the power production and distribution plan to the central regional power grid by 14 percent and surpassing 2020 performance by 20 percent.
During the global pandemic crisis, within the framework of our corporate social responsibility, we have undertaken several initiatives to ensure a healthy and safe environment for future generations, support target groups, and assist in pandemic prevention.
We achieved these results with the support of our internationally competitive employees, management team, contracted parties, partnering companies, as well as our Aimag and Soum stakeholders.
